Spot every difference between the old site and the new server
A crawler can tell you a page loads. It can’t tell you the font fell back or the hero image is gone. Compare the live site with the new server, by browsing both at once or with a pixel diff.
Illustration with sample data.
What you get
Browse both at once
Live compare opens the live site next to the new server. Scroll or follow a link on one side and the other follows.
Every changed pixel
Visual compare screenshots the pages you pick on both servers, on desktop and mobile, and highlights what changed with a percentage per page.
Diagnostics for each side
HTTP status, time to first byte, console errors and failed files, with what is worse on the new server marked.
Show your client
On paid plans, share a live compare link: your client sees both sites without an account.
How it works
- 1
Open the link’s compare
Start live compare, or add the pages you want screenshotted and run a visual compare.
- 2
Look at the differences
Switch between side by side, a slider and the diff, or pick a device width for both sides.
- 3
Fix and check again
Find differences here screenshots the page you are on in live mode, so you can check a fix in one click.

Questions, answered
Is live compare free?
Live compare is on every plan. Free includes a few sessions a month and paid plans have more; see the table above.
Why are some differences expected?
Rotating banners, ads, cookie notices, dates and latest posts differ between any two page loads. Look at where the changes are before you worry about the number.
What if the domain changed with the migration?
Give the link the old site address. Live and visual compare then open the old side there.
Do clicks and typing happen on both sides?
Only if you turn those options on. Then every action really runs twice, so use test accounts. Passwords are never copied.
Check the new server before your visitors do
Free, no credit card, and no account needed for your first link.
